At the same time, we know very well that each field is different, so we like to listen, and then we come up with a solution based on our experience.
At the beginning of the present solution, there was an idea of a student of Czech Technical University in Prague at that time – the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering to simplify the work of pharmaceutical representatives and bring something new to the market. It took more than a few evenings, but the first clients started to appear. They found out they could work in a different way. More efficiently. On the basis of the feedback from users, which became the driving force of our software, it was clear that it was not just another university project that would end where it began.
For our partners, we have become a helping hand in everyday life, which is a natural part of them. It’s not about coming up with extraordinary ideas all the time. Our goal is to come up with practical things, which can be used in practice immediately. Then, we can polish it step by step through regular testing and development to achieve a solution, which is the most efficient and mainly easy to use.
Over the course of almost twenty years, we have moved from a university code to a complex solution, which extends beyond the borders of the Czech Republic. Tens of companies and hundreds of representatives and sales agents know they can rely on us. Whether they are in an office or outside, they always have immediate access to all important information. Thanks to their experience and openness, we have managed to develop such a product as Medor is today.
How Medor was developed
Under the control of Pavel Randák, the founder of the Austro-Bohemia company, an offline software Medor V1 was created (formerly known as Medobase).
Medobase covers the basic CRM needs of a pharmaceutical representative (database of physicians and pharmacies, activity reports).
Extension of Medobase by the administration of seminars, improvement of planning, driver´s logbook and the first reporting.
Development of the software Medac, which facilitates the P&L financing planning and business plans for managers, including managerial bookkeeping.
By connecting the functionalities of the Medobase and Medac programmes, Medobase v2 was created under a new name Medor.
Under the patronage of the team of Austro-Bohemia programmers, Medor appears in an online version for the first time.
Separate software is separated from the Medor system for the analysis of blood gases in hospital laboratories under the name GlukoMedor.
Medor starts working as a fully-fledged cloud solution supplemented with complete bookkeeping, and extends beyond the borders of the Czech Republic – entering Slovakia.
The software Medor gets a new design and other analytical functions for processing sales and other eternal data are added. At the same time, a new variant of Medor ISTS is created for companies dealing with the technical administration of buildings – so-called Facility Management.
We implement the support of tablets for field work and we improve stock management.
We install GlukoMedor in Hungary, Slovakia and Austria.
Extension of the Medor ISTS modules through the mapping and analyses of the energy efficiency of buildings.
Improving the arrangement of the system, data transmissions are alleviated and the capacity in the support and analyses section is increased.
We enter foreign markets in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We redesign data reporting entirely, and shift to Business intelligence solutions.
